About Me

Hi, I’m Lauren, founder of Blu.

My journey into breathwork began with an unexpected pause that became a turning point. After being floored with chronic fatigue, burnout, and autoimmune issues through years of inadequate stress management, I was forced to stop and slow down to find a way out. I was in constant hyper-drive, using high intensity sport, unsustainable work loads and my own pressures to sustain an unhealthy level of stress which felt ‘normal’. Through presence, nature, movement, and breathwork—first discovered through freediving—I found a more sustainable rhythm for life.

Inspired by the connection between breath and well-being, I deepened my freediving practice, achieving SSI Level 3, and became a certified breath science practitioner through The School of Breath. I also trained in modern and functional breathwork with the Whole Health Project and underwater resilience train through Deep End Fitness. Its ongoing work but its a practice I love and would like to share with others.

I created Blu. to help individuals and teams unlock their full potential with supportive inquiry. My approach focuses on your own exploration, resetting natural breathing patterns and using breathing practices for better health, performance and happiness.
